Nowadays in Motocross the competition is harder than ever and rivalries are always high, but it’s definitely nice to see a reigning champion like Eli Tomac giving credit to the next generation.
Most recently, Tomac had some amazing things to say about young star Jett Lawrence, saying he is “just a great kid” and that “he is without recourse.”

We can’t deny the talent of Jett Lawrence, the cheeky young Australian with a penchant for aggression and the personality to match.
Lawrence has been on the radar since bursting onto the scene and comparisons to Tomac. Tomac called him “a good kid” but really emphasized the down to earth approach with the young rider. This combination of talent and carefulness has amassed plenty of followers for Lawrence already and the words from Tomac solidify him as a future star.
Which means that this is just the beginning of Lawrence going next level, and getting some street cred from even the sport’s biggest.
